  19. For a Windows 98 machine running K95, I'm getting "Dial Failure:
  20. Error initializing modem" when a dial command is being issued.

  22. The configuration, as I understand it, is correct, and it's
  23. apparently finding the modem, though the dial immediately fails.
  24. Using HyperTerminal, a connection can be made using that same
  25. modem.

  27. I also have a debug.log file that probably points to the
  28. problem, but it's huge--so I didn't want to post it unsolicited.
